MidOpt

MidOpt StablEDGE Optical Filters:  Optical filters which are specifically designed to be less susceptible to effects from angular shifting seen when optical filters are placed in front of short focal length (<12 mm) camera lenses.

BP324 Application Note: The benefits of  MidOpt’s near UV BP324 bandpass filter displays the contrast imperfections of its subject.

BP470 Application Note: This Blue Bandpass shows how LED Light can overpower the fluorescene emission. Using the BP470 corrects this problem.

BP505 Application Note: This Cyan Bandpass exhibits how the UV can be blocked thus show more detail of its subject

BP525 Application Note: This green light bandpass filter displays its contrast benefits against a green background

BP590 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s BP590 orange bandpass filter reading a bar code.

BP635 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s BP635 light red bandpass filter inspecting a metallic pipe

BP660 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s BP660 dark red bandpass filter overseeing a cookie

BP850 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s BP850 NIR bandpass filter helps to analyze between a bar code and a label.

LA120 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s LA120 Color Balancing Filter helping to detect the glue on  sticky notes.

LP550 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s LP550 Orange Longpass FIlter  used to help reduce the halo effect from a laser

ND060 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s ND060 neutral density filter helps to reduce blooming.

ND200 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s ND200 neutral density filter will reduce transmission evenly over a broad portion of the spectrum.

PRO32 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s PRO32 Linear Polarizer is used to reduce glare from plastic.

SP645 Application Note: This app not shows the  benefits of  MidOpt’s SP645 NIR/Mid-Red Dichroic Block helps to reduce blooming.

Introduction to Infrared Vision  All objects with an absolute temperature over 0 K emit infrared (IR) radiation. Infrared radiant energy is determined by the temperature and emissivity of an object and is characterized by wavelengths ranging from 0.76 (the red edge of the visible range) to 1000 μm (beginning of microwaves range). The higher the temperature of an object, the higher the spectral radiant energy, or emittance, at all wavelengths and the shorter the peak wavelength of the emissions. Due to limitations on detector range, IR radiation is often divided into three smaller regions based on the response of various detectors

Producing the perfect solar cell using sensitive cameras:  Gone are the days when quality assurance involved nothing more than a quick visual check– companies are now increasingly employing camera lenses as high-tech ‘quality inspectors’ in the production environment. Now solar cell developers are getting in on the act, largely because manufacturing solar cells is still a tricky and error-prone process.

High Profile Measurement: VISIONMES – Telecentric Lenses for touch-free Measurement and Inspection.  To ensure that aluminum profiles really meet the requirements made on them, it is absolutely essential that functionally relevant dimensions conform precisely to specifications, no matter how complex the profile contour may be. Deviations from the specified parameters caused, for example, by tool wear, temperature and material fluctuations, must be identified by quality assurance as soon as possible during the production phase.

From User to Users – Too Hot too Handle: The online inspection of the glass containers directly after production offers considerable advantages over traditional “cold end” inspection: the bottles are measured and sorted just a few seconds after manufacture.  In addition, the hot end inspection system clearly allocates recognized errors to the manufacturing tools allowing the causes to be quickly eliminated.
