The Spark SP-5000M-CXP2 and SP-5000C-CXP2 are high performance 5-megapixel CMOS cameras providing an exceptional combination of resolution, speed, and image quality.
Built around a new 5-megapixel imager, these Spark Series cameras can provide full resolution output at up to 211 fps, depending on the bit depth. A two-channel CoaXPress interface provides 6.25 Gbps (CXP-6) over each channel for an aggregate bandwidth of 12.5 Gbps.
ROI windowing modes enable even higher performance, including up to 1,113 fps at VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

Despite its high frame rates, the SP-5000 delivers outstanding image quality including advanced pattern correction, built-in high dynamic range options, and an analog base gain control to reduce quantized noise in low light situations. An on-chip 4-channel analog gain control on the color model (SP-5000C-CXP2) allows individual R, G, and B adjustment for better white balancing with reduced noise.
The monochrome model (SP-5000M-CXP2) offers excellent NIR response and supports 1 x 2, 2 x 1, or 2 x 2 binning modes for even greater sensitivity.
The color model (SP-5000C-CXP2) provides raw Bayer output at the same rate as the monochrome camera and can perform 24-bit (3 x 8-bit) color interpolation at up to 44 frames per second for full 5-megapixel images.
Both models include an automatic level control (ALC) function for auto exposure control in changing lighting conditions and a programmable P-axis lens control circuit.
The dual mini BNC connectors provide high-speed, high resolution output. Power can be supplied through the CoaXPress interface, or can be provided via the separate 12-pin connector.
Uses C-mount lenses.
