The Spark SP-5000M-CXP4 and SP-5000C-CXP4 are the highest performing members of the SP-5000 family of 5-megapixel CMOS cameras. Featuring a four-channel CoaXPress interface with 6.25 Gbps (CXP-6) bandwidth over each channel, the SP-5000-CXP4 enables the 5-megapixel imager to run at its maximum frame rate of 253 fps for 8-bit, 10-bit, or 12-bit output.
The result is an exceptional combination of resolution, speed, and image quality with ROI windowing modes enable even higher performance, up to 24,763 fps for an 8-line ROI.
Despite its high frame rates, the SP-5000 delivers outstanding image quality including advanced pattern correction, built-in high dynamic range options, and an analog base gain control to reduce quantized noise in low light situations. An on-chip 4-channel analog gain control on the color model (SP-5000C-CXP4) allows individual R, G, and B adjustment for better white balancing with reduced noise.

The monochrome model (SP-5000M-CXP4) offers excellent NIR response and supports 1 x 2, 2 x 1, or 2 x 2 binning modes for even greater sensitivity.
The color model (SP-5000C-CXP4) provides raw Bayer output at the same rate as the monochrome camera and can perform 24-bit (3 x 8-bit) color interpolation at over 60 frames per second for 1080p HD resolution.
Both models include an automatic level control (ALC) function for auto exposure control in changing lighting conditions and a programmable P-axis lens control circuit.
The quad mini BNC connectors provide high-speed, high resolution output. Power can be supplied through the CoaXPress interface, or can be provided via the separate 12-pin connector.
