The SP-5000M-PMCL and SP-5000C-PMCL are high performance 5-megapixel CMOS cameras providing an exceptional combination of resolution, speed, and image quality.
Built around a 5-megapixel CMOS imager (Lince5M), these Spark Series cameras can provide full resolution output at up to 137 fps, depending on the bit depth and tap geometry. Featuring a global shutter, the camera can produce crisp images of moving objects with no spatial distortion.
A dual Camera Link interface provides Base, Medium, or Full confugurations to fit performance requirements. AOI windowing modes enable even higher performance

Despite its high frame rates, the SP-5000 delivers outstanding image quality including advanced pattern correction, built-in high dynamic range modes, and an on-chip 4-channel analog gain control on the color model (SP-5000C-PMCL) to individually adjust R, G, and B information for better white balancing with reduced noise.
The monochrome model (SP-5000M-PMCL) offers excellent NIR response and supports 1 x 2, 2 x 1, or 2 x 2 binning modes for even greater sensitivity.
The color model (SP-5000C-PMCL) provides raw Bayer output in 8-bit, 10-bit, or 12-bit pixel depths.
Both models include an automatic level control (ALC) function for auto exposure control in changing lighting conditions and a versatile lens control function that includes P-iris control as well as 3-axis control for motorized lenses, pan/tilt heads, and other analog accessories.
The SP-5000M-PMCL and SP-5000C-PMCL complies with “Power over Camera Link” which enables power to be supplied to the camera through the Camera Link cable(s). Because the power requirements of the camera exceed the amount of power which can be provided over a single PoCL connection, power must be supplied via both Camera Link cables in order to utilize the PoCL capabilities. If you plan to use this function, please be sure that the frame grabber board you are using also complies with this specification. Alternatively, the camera can be powered via a separate power supply connected to the 12-pin Hirose connector.
