AC389 Acrylic VIS + NIR A/R Coated Protective Window

AC389 Trans Graphic

New  AC389 anti-reflection coated acrylic windows are optimized for visible AND near-infrared transmission, making them ideal for use in security systems, 3D image capture, and some LIDAR applications. They are chemically and environmentally stable, resist solarization, and are cosmetically superb. Durable antireflection coatings increase light transmission while limiting glare and other unwanted reflections. At the same time, the acrylic substrate is a lighter weight, more impact resistant alternative compared to glass.  As an option, these windows can also be provided with oleophobic/hydrophobic top coatings.

MidOpt BP Series Filter BP250

 Deep-to-Near-UV Bandpass Filter

The BP250 filter is a very broadband UV filter, mainly intended for deep-UV imaging. It is the only MidOpt UV filter available that offers excellent visible and near-IR blocking., thus making it best suited to distinguish features or characteristics that are only visible under UV illumination.

Offered in a limited number of sizes, and not intended for use with standard CCD/CMOS cameras that do not image deep into the UV spectrum.

  • Many varifocal and shorter fixed focal length (wide angle) lenses are not supplied with filter threads due to the presence of a protruding, strongly convex lens element. Our slip mount adapters allow standard threaded filters to be fitted securely to these and a large variety of lenses that do not have filter threads provided.

Near-UV Bandpass Filter

Useful in UV imaging applications, BP324 filters have a broad spectral bandwidth in the UV while effectively blocking most visible and infrared light. Note that there is a slight deep red/near IR leak that peaks at about 720nm. Because this filter absorbs all unwanted visible and/or infrared light, it is not recommended for placement in front of intense (white) light sources

 

 

  • Passes UV portions 320-380 nm and 280-320nm

Neutral Density Filter – Absorptive 6.25% Transmission 

ND120 absorptive neutral density filters have an optical density of 1.2, averaging 6.25% transmission over the visible spectrum. These filters include identical male and female threads on either end so that they can be stacked with other ND filters to achieve various optical densities. For example, the result from stacking two ND120 filters together would be very similar to utilizing one (ND240) filter. Visible transmission would approximately equal 0.4% of visible light.
